The Alliance Française in Suva yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Fiji National University to have French classes as a course from next year.

During the signing of the MoU, FNU Vice-Chancellor Nigel Healey said as a vocational University, they are preparing people for various working sector and its critically important that young students have the ability to understand the language of teaching if they are going to be successful both in Fiji and in the region.

Healey said they’ve enjoyed the support from the Alliance Française, and the MoU signifies the scaling up of the relationship between the two institutions.
