Fiji wins the London Rugby Sevens

The Fiji Sevens Team won the Marriott Sevens Trophy on the London leg of the HSBC World Series, beating Samoa 38-15 in a thrilling final.

New Zealand, who finished third on this leg, won the overall Series with 167 points to retain the HSBC World Series title. Fiji, who won the Australia and Hong-Kong tournaments, finished the season in second place only 6 points behind the All Blacks.

"We came from fifth (last season) to second which is a big improvement for us," said Fiji captain Setefano Cakau after the match. And to conclude: "We achieved our goals."
