Successful school holiday programme at the Fiji Museum for students.

A two-day programme was organised and hosted by the Alliance Française, Fiji Museum and the French Embassy in Suva during the school holidays. 53 children registered for the free French lessons and activities include; baking (French quatre-quart cakes), French language and games, French territories map drawing and a movie (Astérix et les Gaulois). The children, age 7 - 15, were given the opportunity to introduce themselves in French and most of them are thinking of asking their parents to register them for the French classes at the Alliance Française de Suva.

"I came to learn about France and I have made some new friends too! I liked the programme and the Alliance Française teachers made the programme very interesting, exciting and educational. I really liked the activities and I would like to know more about France, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna," says 10 year old AnnMary Vikatoria.

The programme and the activities offered an enjoyable and positive learning experience with a strong focus on French culture and language.
