The French Territory of Wallis and Futuna has donated to the Fiji Red Cross.

The French Territory of Wallis and Futuna has donated the sum of $19,619 to the Fiji Red Cross to assist the Town of Nadi in its rehabilitation efforts after the damaging effects of the floods in January.

One of the nearest neighbours to the Fiji Islands, this archipelago is located to the North-Est of Fiji and is composed of three islands : Uvea (Wallis), Futuna and Alofi. It has a population of around 15 000 habitants.

At present a Hospitality school in Futuna is hosting around 10 Fiji students from the Fiji Institute of Technology.
