Writing Contest "Toku-Motu: My Island"
The territory of Wallis and Futuna Islands is organizing in 2014 a short-story or album writing contest aimed at young readers aged 10-15 years old.
The stories can be written in either French, Wallisian or Futunan languages.
You are 11 + years old, you are French-speaking and you live in the South Pacific zone:
- You can enter the contest with a short-story or an album written in French. Depending on your age, you can participate in the contest either on your own or as a group (class, friends, writers’ workshop, or other).
You are 11 + years old, you read and write Wallisian or Futunan, wherever you live:
- You can enter the contest by writing a short-story or an album written in Wallisian or Futunan, individually or as a group.
Seven works will be awarded a prize depending on the language used, the age range and the way the work was written (individually or in group).
The prize-winning works will be published. Each contestant will receive the book in which the prize-winning works will be compiled.
This free contest will be open from 17 March 2014 and will close on 25 July 2014.
